The Wild Party
I served as the Assistant Director for The University of Texas’ Theatre & Dance Department’s production of The Wild Party in the fall of 2015. For photos of the production please visit the Theatre & Dance Department’s Facebook Page.
Miss Julie
This summer I am directing Miss Julie by August Strindberg produced by Round About Players. We are currently in preproduction, with auditions to come soon. Miss Julie is the daughter of a wealthy count who begins a relationship with the family valet, Jean, and must find a way to avoid bringing dishonor to her family after the affair. Miss Julie will be performed in the Winship Drama Building on The University of Texas at Austin campus on August 21,22, and 23.
Refugia
Refugia was a collaboration between The University of Texas at Austin Theatre & Dance Department and The Moving Company. The Moving Company consists of the members of the Tony Award winning Theatre de la Juene Lune. For this production I served as dramaturg, and my work consisted of providing research that aided the rehearsal process and development of Refugia and taking notes of blocking and line changes during rehearsals. The documents include examples of notes and research I did for this production.

The Importance of Being Earnest
I directed The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde during the summer of 2014. We performed in the courtyard of Mary E. Gearing Hall at The University of Texas at Austin Campus as the first Round About Players’ summer show. This was the first Round About Players’ show to charge admission.
Reasons to be Pretty
In Spring 2014 I directed Reasons to be Pretty by Neil LaBute. Reasons to be Pretty was part of a larger production called More Than Skin Deep which was a theatrical production centered on the theme of body image. More Than Skin Deep included the production I directed as well as a devised movement piece called Beauty Marks.
Round About Players Marketing
I have served as the Marketing Chair for Round About Players since Spring 2014. Round About Players is a student organization that is open to all majors with the goal of providing all students with the opportunity to create great theatre. As the Marketing Chair I create online media for distribution via email marketing and social media, oversee tabling efforts, and maintain the Round About Players’ website.
